Rowena Marshall

Partner, Banking and Finance

As a Partner in Forsters’ Banking and Finance team, Rowena advises both lenders and borrowers on all areas of banking and finance, whether in the domestic or international sphere.

With expertise in corporate and acquisition finance, Rowena has particular experience in real estate finance (both investment and development), having advised on numerous residential development schemes and multi-property portfolios across a diverse sector range, including retail, student accommodation, healthcare, alternative living and PRS.

Her lender clients include retail and private banks, challenger banks and alternative lenders, while on the borrower side she acts for funds and institutional investors, developers, high net worth individuals, family trusts and investment companies, to name a few.

Approachable, commercial and pragmatic, Rowena is adept at understanding her clients and their needs and proactively drives transactions forward to completion. She has an acute awareness of market practice and this, combined with her in-depth knowledge, ensures that clients can fully rely on her judgment and advice.

Rowena attended Bristol university before training and qualifying at a City firm. She joined Forsters in 2014.
