Sharing our legal expertise

We are engaged in a variety of pro bono activities that benefit our local and wider communities. We encourage lawyers at all stages of their careers to participate in pro bono matters, recognising the importance of giving ‘something back’ to those unable to pay for advice.

We are a signatory to the Joint Pro Bono Protocol for Legal Work, which governs how we undertake our pro bono work.

We have a Pro Bono Committee, Pro Bono Policy and partnerships with a number of pro bono legal advice centres and other organisations, which enable our legal teams to use their specific expertise in a pro bono capacity. Organisations we are involved with include The Chancery Lane Project, South Westminster Legal Advice Centre, Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre, Citizen’s Advice Wandsworth, TrustLaw and LandAid.

Our Pro Bono Policy enables pro bono work on approved projects to contribute towards annual lawyer hours targets.

"They are very competent and very experienced contentious trusts solicitors, with a number of partners who are experienced in this field. They take a sensible approach to litigation."
