The UK litigation funding market continues to expand and third party funding should now be regarded as a mainstream approach to financing claimant litigation.
A well-structured funding agreement with appropriate After the Event (ATE) insurance cover can effectively de-risk litigation in exchange for a reduced return in the event of success.  This approach is understandably appealing to an increasingly wide variety of potential claimants from large corporates to investor groups to individuals. A high proportion of individuals and organisations are therefore eager to understand whether their case is one that might be suitable for third party funding.

The Forsters team ensures that it is well placed to advise clients on the types of funding solutions available, and to assist in negotiating and securing terms.
