Jo Edwards quoted in the Sunday Times about fewer wives petitioning for divorce

Commenting on analysis by the Marriage Foundation, Jo highlighted that as divorce numbers have declined since 1993, the number of women issuing petitions has halved whereas the number of men petitioning has reduced by only about 15% in the same period. Jo speculated as to why this may be the case (answer - probably nothing to do with any changes in behaviour, as the content of the petition often doesn’t reflect the only reasons for the breakdown of a marriage).

Jo’s comments were published in the Sunday Times.
