Head of Family, Jo Edwards wrote an opinion piece for the iNews entitled “Death-bed marriages are on the rise – the law is failing cohabiting couples.”

The article discussed the case of Siobhan McLaughlin and the lack of legal rights and benefits for unmarried, cohabiting couples in England and Wales. Jo explained how the law fails to protect cohabiting couples at the end of their relationship, whether through separation or death.
